Member Anne-Tyler Morgan will appear on KET's Kentucky Tonight this evening at 8:00 p.m. to discuss Medicaid, covering recent changes and the implications for Kentuckians.

On December 6, 2024, Lexington's Urban County Council signed an agreement to support a new regional economic development initiative called the Central Kentucky Business Park Authority. McBrayer Member Anne-Tyler Morgan and Associate Neal Morris played significant roles in helping to establish this new business park, which will be located in Berea, KY. This multi-county project is vital for Central Kentucky's efforts to create a strong foundation for job creation and community growth throughout the region. The Lexington Fayette Urban-County Government, the City of Berea, Madison County, and Scott County have all contributed to this investment and will manage the 300-acre park, which is currently known as Menelaus Industrial Park in Berea. 

McBrayer PLLC Economic Development Chair Anne-Tyler Morgan was delighted to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for American Welding & Gas's (“AWG”) new fill plant facility in Georgetown/Scott County on August 28, 2024. McBrayer's economic development team was honored to assist AWG in securing vital Kentucky tax incentives to bring this new facility to life.

On February 5th, Member Anne-Tyler Morgan appeared on KET's Kentucky Tonight to discuss the state budget for funding public education, child care, and other budget allocations. The bills mentioned were House Bill 6, House Bill 1, and House Bill 5, which is named the Safer Kentucky Act.

By unanimous vote, McBrayer Member Anne-Tyler Morgan has been elected Chair of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Industrial Authority.  Ms. Morgan’s newest post at the helm of Lexington’s Industrial Authority further underscores her and the firm’s commitment to regional economic development and community service, as Ms. Morgan is also a longtime senior member of Lexington’s Economic Development Investment Board.

McBrayer Member Anne-Tyler Morgan will be featured in the Girl Scouts of Kentucky Wilderness Road Council's "Unstoppable Women" online lecture series, presented by McBrayer. The conversation will be held on Tuesday, January 4th at 4 pm. Anne-Tyler will be joined by friend and Kentucky Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ashli Watts. 

McBrayer Member Anne-Tyler Morgan has recently been appointed to the board of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Since 2005, the Kentucky Chamber Foundation has worked to improve the lives of Kentuckians by supporting workforce development, education, diversity, community empowerment, and other efforts. The Foundation is responsible for such programs as the Workforce Center, Kentucky Comeback, and Bus to Business.
